Thousand Oaks, CA — November 24, 2025 — Shapell Properties is proud to announce the unanimous approval of the Conejo Summit project by the Thousand Oaks City Council. The 50-acre Conejo Summit project is a future 750,000-square foot industrial campus located in the Rancho Conejo business park area of Thousand Oaks, adjacent to the Amgen global headquarters.
The 15-building campus will offer spaces from under 10,000 to over 90,000 square feet, providing adaptable advanced manufacturing buildings designed to support the requirements of a variety of companies seeking well-located, functional facilities. Each proposed building offers the flexibility of single or multiple users and features dock-high loading, generous parking ratios, and 32-foot clear heights.
John DeGrinis, Patrick DuRoss, Jeff Abraham, and Javier Galvan of the Calabasas office of Newmark consulted on the design and will market the buildings to prospective users. “With entitlements now secured, we’re advancing a next-generation industrial business park that elevates the standard beyond flexible footprints and modern specifications, uniting high-performance functionality with a genuine sense of place,” DeGrinis shared. “The campus offers immediate access to hiking trails and sweeping Conejo Valley ridgeline views,” DuRoss continued, “amenities rarely found in an industrial setting.
